Ratan enthrals audience with Ghantasala songs

Noted musician K. Ratan, founder of the K.J. Yesudas Samskrithika Seva Samastha sang non-stop 108 songs composed by Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao.

Mr Ratan with a gifted voice kept spellbound music lovers singing evergreen melodies at the C.V.N. Reading Room Open Air Theatre here during the programme organised by S.V.R. Kala Parishad till late on Sunday. Female singers Lakshmi Tulasi, P.Annapoorna, Vishnupriya and Sivameghana chipped in with their contributions in making the event lively. While youngster got an opportunity to listen to old songs with good lyric, old-timers went into the memory lane.
