Railway employee found dead

Mystery shrouded the death of a railway employee, whose body was found on the railway tracks near Kuppam station on Saturday morning.

According to railway police, Sundarappa, hailing from H. Kotalu village in Kuppam mandal, was working with the signal wing of Kuppam railway station. He left home on Friday morning, but did not return in the night. The railway police suspect that some miscreants might have attacked him for gain. A case had been registered.

Meanwhile, an unidentified person was found murdered in the forest abutting Gundlanayanapalle near Kuppam. Police have sent the body for autopsy and registered a case.
