A two-day capacity building programme on ‘Commodity Derivatives Market’ (CDM) commenced at Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences (AITS), here on Wednesday. AITS Chairman C. Gangi Reddy, who inaugurated the event, said the CDM has a great potential and impact, not only on employment but also on the research opportunities.
On the concept of ‘capacity’, he said the word empowered quality and value. MCX South Regional head T.G. Senthilvelan (Chennai) and MCX manager M. Sambasiva Rao (Hyderabad) asserted that CDM was an ancient practice which had emerged as a new concept in the management studies.
