Member of Parliament Madhu Goud Yaskhi feels that pressure should continuously be built on the Centre until a separate Statehood is delivered.

“I have repeatedly said that there is nothing going on at the Centre on the Telangana issue and it did not figure in the Congress Working Committee's meeting yesterday. Centre seems to be unwilling to deliver a separate State unless more pressure is built,” he said when PDSU activists entered into argument with him, here on Wednesday.

The protesters took exception to his tour in the district when the Telangana March was round the corner. They said that the MP should be taking part in the arrangements of the march instead of touring. As the police were about to shift them to the station, the MP convinced them to release the protestors.

Mr. Madhu Goud later inspected the Mee Seva centre and ascertained the problems confronted by it. “I wanted to check it up as someone had complained about the functioning of the centre,” he said.
