: Two persons with suspected credentials were nabbed by the Prakasam police amid high drama here on Saturday.

On a tip-off that suspected members of a terror outfit were residing in a house in the posh Bhagyanagar area, a posse of police led by Ongole Deputy Superintendent of Police G. Srinivasa Rao did not take anything to chance. Putting in place multi-layer security, armed personnel wearing bullet-proof jackets, surrounded the house and swiftly nabbed the duo.

The whole episode ended in an anti-climax as it was found during inquiry that they were in-fact working as executives in a micro-irrigation firm empanelled with the Andhra Pradesh Micro Irrigation Project.

After getting confirmed by Irrigation department officials, they were let off, the DSP said.
