Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao has said that the pharmaceutical sector has a bright future in the country and it has tremendous potential for employment generation. Students can look to it for a career that’s challenging, but rewarding at the same time, he has asserted.
Inaugurating ‘Pharmoria-2017,’ a three-day symposium on pharmaceutical sciences, jointly organised by Tychee Innovations Pvt. Ltd. (TIPL) and Nimra College of Pharmacy (NCP) on the college premises here on Friday, Mr. Siva Prasad Rao said the sector offered myriad opportunities to students of B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Pharm.D courses. “They need to learn from the core competencies that helped some well-known Indian companies grow into global behemoths.” Minister of Water Resources Devineni Umamaheswara Rao said the rise of Indian pharmaceutical companies in the start-up space opened new vistas of employment.
