Consequent on the reorganisation of the State, the existing offices of Principal Accountant General (General & Social Sector Audit), Andhra Pradesh and Accountant General (Economic & Revenue Sector Audit), A.P will serve both the successor states. It will be re-designated as Office of Principal Accountant General (General & Social sector Audit), A.P and Telangana and Office of Accountant General (Economic & Revenue Sector Audit), A.P and Telangana respectively with effect from the appointed day on June 2, according to a press release.
