Srisailam temple authorities on Sunday announced cancellation of abhishekam with ₹5,000 ticket for November 3 and November 4 in view of Karthika Pournami as a large turnout of devotees is expected.
Arrangements are being made for providing hassle-free darshan of Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy on the two days, according to a statement.
Samuhika Abhisheka Seva volunteers would, however, be permitted to pour water over the Sivalingam in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple on those days.
