Narayana blames Naidu for encounter

Terming the Seshachalam encounter as a ‘well planned murder’, Communist Party of India (CPI) national executive committee member K. Narayana has demanded the Chief Minister to own up responsibility for the incident and said a case under Section 302 of IPC should be registered against him.

Interacting with the media here on Saturday, Mr. Narayana said incident of such a magnitude (killing of 20 red sanders wood cutter) would not have happened without the knowledge of the Chief Minister and alleged that the State government was trying to hide the facts of the incident. “All signs indicate that the encounter was planned well in advance. The coolies were killed elsewhere and dumped at the location with ‘smugglers’ tag to distort the facts,” he said
