Naidu promises houses for staff

In an announcement that should enthuse the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat employees, Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu promised to provide housing with all facilities to them in the new capital nearer to the work place.

Conceding demands of employees’ associations, Mr. Naidu during his first address at the Secretariat, agreed to create a Services ministry to address employees grievances. Meanwhile, the Secretariat employees announced a donation of two days basic pay while some employees contributed money. One of the woman employees handed over four gold bangles. Dr. P.V.Ramanamurthy, MD, Andhra Hospitals gave Rs.10 lakh cheque to the Chief Minister. Responding to AP Secretariat Coordination Committee Chairman U. Muralikrishna to move to Andhra Pradesh soon, Mr.Naidu reminded that he has responsibilities in both the States. He would have to create social Telangana and bring TDP back to power there in 2019 but he would devote majority of time in Andhra Pradesh while being accessible to employees here even at night.
