Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has asked the party MPs to be aggressive and step up their protest in Parliament.

Talking to the MPs through teleconference on Friday, Mr. Naidu said the Centre hadn’t responded in a desired fashion though the MPs were agitating against the injustice done to Andhra Pradesh in the Union budget. Expressing displeasure over the “indifferent attitude” of the Centre, Mr. Naidu said: “Don’t step back even if you are suspended. There is no need to step back on the protest until AP issues are addressed.”

The fight should continue until the Centre fulfilled all promises. The government would not compromise on the injustice meted out to Andhra Pradesh. Also intensify the protest in both Houses. The MPs should stage protest both in House and outside the Parliament. “We have to keep up the pressure on the Centre to make sure it fulfils its promises to A.P. The State interests were utmost priority,” he said.

He spoke to the MPs from Dubai on Thursday night also to discuss the developments in Parliament. Meanwhile, the TDP MPs staged protest in front of Gandhi statue on Parliament premises on Friday.
