: The month-long anxious wait of contestants of urban local bodies (ULBs) will come to an end on Monday as the counting of votes for elections to 145 nagar panchayats and municipalities and 10 municipal corporations held on March 30 will commence at 8 a.m.
Results of all the wards and divisions in 155 corporations, nagar panchayats and municipalities are likely to be declared by noon. Talking to mediapersons here on Sunday, State Election Commissioner Ramakanth Reddy directed the closure of liquor shops in the vicinity of counting centres as a precautionary measure.
