Film actor M. Mohan Babu along with his actor-son Vishnu met YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad in Chanchalguda prison here on Tuesday as part of ‘mulaqaat’.
The two actors went to the prison around 12.30 pm and were inside the jail for about an hour. Speaking to mediapersons after coming out, Mr. Mohan Babu said he went to meet Mr. Jagan as he was his nephew (Mr. Jagan’s cousin married Mr. Vishnu) and Mr. Prasad was his good friend.
“I am coming out with a heavy heart after meeting the two dear ones who are being subjected to victimisation by some villains in Delhi, but I am hopeful that good days are ahead for both and the two will come out soon”, Mr. Mohan Babu said. God knew everything and he would decide who was good and who was bad at an appropriate time.
He parried a question whether he would join the YSR Congress to re-enter politics, which he had quit after serving as Rajya Sabha member of TDP. He was nominated by late N.T. Rama Rao.
