All the Ministers would quit the State Cabinet if the Leader of the Opposition, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, proved his charges of corruption against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, asserted Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy on Sunday.

Being mired in several corruption cases, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s dream of becoming Chief Minister would never be fulfilled, Mr. Krishnamurthy told the media here.

Flanked by co-accused in the CBI cases on the dais, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy released a book titled ‘Emperor of Corruption’, but people were vexed with the Goebbels propaganda against Mr. Naidu, he said.

The sole agenda of the YSR Congress plenary was to deride the TDP and Mr. Naidu, and praise Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said.

On the one hand Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy was speaking about Special Category Status and on the other meeting the Prime Minister and pleading with him to absolve him from the CBI cases, Mr. Krishnamurthy alleged.

Transparency

Mr. Naidu was administering in a transparent manner and the government was striving to ensure people’s welfare, augment irrigation facilities, curtail farmer suicides and road accidents, he stated. Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy could never be a match to Mr. Naidu, he asserted.

By his promise to bring back the YSR rule, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy wanted to bring back the “misrule” that had led to the plundering of mineral wealth, land grabbing and amassing ill-gotten wealth, Mr. Krishnamurthy said.

The only option for Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy was to continue his ‘odarpu yatra’, as his plans to go on a padayatra would go awry because he had to frequently attend court, Mr. Krishnamurthy added.

Kurnool MLA S.V. Mohan Reddy said Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy was frustrated as Mr. Naidu was developing the State despite revenue deficit.

The YSRC president had been levelling charges in the Assembly and elsewhere, but could not prove any of them, he said.
