The meagre allocations in the Union Budget have disappointed everyone in the State, Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy has said. Speaking after meeting Stamps and Revenue Department officials in Vijayawada, he said: “We are not able to figure out if we are in the Opposition or a ruling party ally. We failed to get more projects and adequate funds in both Railway and Union Budget in spite of lobbying with the Centre. We will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and tell him about the problems facing people of the State,” he said.
