‘Make Vizag rail zone headquarters’

A team of Members of Parliament (MPs) met Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu in New Delhi on Monday and demanded an announcement on the new railway zone with Visakhapatnam headquarters.

MPs Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao (Anakapalle), Kothapalli Geetha (Araku), Kambhampati Haribabu (Visakhapatnam) and Murali Mohan (Rajahmundry) met the Railway Minister.

Mr. Murali Mohan sought the establishment of a railway university at Rajahmundry.

A team of members of Vizag Journalists’ Forum, led by president Gantla Srinu Babu, vice president Nagaraj Patnaik also met the Railway Minister and made the same demand and extension of rail travel concession to rural journalists also.
