The second day of Andhra Pradesh Assembly Monsoon session began amid slogan raising by main Opposition YSRC Party MLAs demanding suspension of all items on agenda and discussing `Special Category Status' for Andhra Pradesh issue.

9.25 a.m.: Andhra Pradesh Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao adjourns house proceedings for 15 minutes amid slogan shouting by YSRCP MLAs.

9.40 a.m.: TDP Whips Yamini Bala, M. Mallikarjun & K Ravikumar ask YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy to quit terming him a factionist.and ask him to behave responsibly in the House.

10.05 A.M.: The Assembly has not been re-convened even after 30 minutes of adjournment, though the Speaker had adjourned it only for 15 minutes.

10.25 a.m. : A.P. Assembly Monsson session reconvenes after a break of an hour.

10.30 a.m. : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister begins his statement in A.P. Assembly on Special Category Status for the State.

10.36 a.m. : Leader of Opposition Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy objects to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's speech, which according to him does not match with the note circulated in the House.

10. 46 a.m. : War of words continues between Jagan and Naidu during Monsoon session over note on Special Category Status.

10.48 a.m. : Naidu says he can understand predicament of first-timers in the Assembly not being able to grasp the essence of his statement.

11.25 a.m. : Chandrababu Naidu has expressed willingness to resolve the contentious issues between his Government and the Telangana State through a dialogue.

11.50 a.m. : Leader of Opposition Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy replies to Chandrababu Naidu's statement. Says Mr.Naidu unaware of several facts related to State bifurcation. 12.15 p.m. : Giving Special Category Status is Union Cabinet's prerogative, but in case of A.P. it has not materialised though it is essentially an executive decision, says Y.S. Jagan

01.00 p.m. : War of words between Opposition Leader Jagan Mohan Reddy and TDP/BJP MLAs continues in the Assembly during discussion on Special Category Status. 01.00 p.m. : TDP MLA Dhulipalla Narendra takes objection to Y.S. Jagan calling Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu an outdated political leader.

01.10 p.m. : Chief Minister Chandrababu asks TDP MLAs, who had rushed to well, to return and behave properly and not react to unparliamentary comments by some people.

01. 15 p.m. : I was not given mike while in the Oppossition, but we are not behaving like that and giving full opportunity to the Opposition leader and other MLAs.

01.20 p.m. : Minister Ravela Kishore Babu asks Y.S. Jagan if he would give back to society the Rs. 1 lakh crore he allegedly made illegally.

01.21 p.m. : Ravela says they will give the Mike to Jagan for speaking on special category status if he returned the money.

01.22 p.m. : Y.S. Jagan says he will resign if they can prove the charges against him.

01.30 p.m. : Can you give a deadline to Centre on according Special Category Status even after 15 months of coming to power: Y.S. Jagan asks Chandrababu Naidu

2.30 p.m. : A.P. Assembly adopts unanimous resolution seeking Special Category Status that was introduced by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
