KORM, KLM College help Hudhud-affected

Teaching and non-teaching staff of KORM College of Engineering, Kadapa, donated a day’s salary amounting to Rs. 51,507 and their counterparts in KLM College of Engineering for Women, Kadapa, donated Rs. 27,990 for rehabilitation of Hudhud cyclone-affected families.

Kandula Group of Institutions Director K.S.N. Reddy, KORM College principal V. Madhusudan and KLM College principal S. Khaja Peer Saheb handed over a cheque for the amount to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to Additional Joint Collector M.V. Subba Reddy on Tuesday.

Teaching and non-teaching staff of Kandula Group of Institutions have so far donated Rs. 3.13 lakh to the CM’s Relief Fund, including Rs. 2.33 lakh by the faculty members and staff of KSRM College of Engineering. KSRM College chairman Kandula Sivananda Reddy said his institutions have always been in the forefront in extending assistance to affected families during natural calamities.
