: Kabali , the latest starrer of Superstar Rajnikanth, has come to throw a sea of fan frenzy in Chittoor district headquarters town, which closely borders with Tamil Nadu. The film is all set for world release on July 22.
Fans had already erected huge flexies and banners at the releasing theatres in the town. In view of the sizeable number of Tamil-speaking people in the town, two theatres are arranged for screening of the Tamil version, and an equal number for Telugu shows. There will be four shows in the four theatres in the early hours of Friday.
Chittoor District Rajnikanth Fans Association president, T.G. Suresh alias Bullet Suresh told the media that in celebration of the Kabali release, free tickets were distributed to fans and their family members in all the four theatres for the opening shows. “Poor-feeding will commence at theatres screening Kabali and at vital junctions in the town. The association will also arrange financial aid to the poor patients suffering from life-threatening diseases,” he said. Mr Suresh has arranged a specially designed jeep with images of the Kabali logo and Rajnikanth on the bonnet, which would be used during the rally to mark the release celebrations and comeback of the superstar after a gap of two years.
Meanwhile, an air of celebration gripped all towns and villages on the Chittoor district-TN border. Thousands of Rajnikanth fans from these areas reach out to TN towns of Vellore, Krishnagiri, Hosur, Vaniyambadi, Gudiyattam, Tirupattur. Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) of Kolar district in Karnataka, 30 km from Kuppam, has a dominant Tamil population and is set to screen as many as a dozen shows in two theatres on Friday.
