Jana Sena Party (JSP) founder-president Pawan Kalyan said on Friday that he always stood for unity among various communities and never desired caste-based rivalry.
Addressing a gathering of his admirers at the site in Chinakakani of Mangalagiri mandal where the party’s State office would be constructed, Mr. Pawan Kalyan said the reason why he had supported the TDP was to reduce the tension between communities. The JSP would strive for an equal and egalitarian society, without any traces of caste and communal discord, he added.
Stating that the new party office would also be an educational centre, Mr. Pawan Kalyan said it would be a place where regular leadership seminars would be conducted. It would have seminar halls and library, he added. Foundation stone for the new office might be laid in January 2018, he said.
“I have been a big fan of green spaces and I want the new capital, Amaravati, to be an environment-friendly city. The new party office would have a lot of green spaces,” Mr. Kalyan said.
Rousing welcome
Earlier, he was accorded a rousing welcome by his fans who came in large numbers from Guntur and Vijayawada.
Responding to their enthusiastic vibes, Mr. Pawan Kalyan appealed to them to convert their enthusiasm and energy into votes.
Mr. Pawan Kalyan also felicitated the land owners, Yarlagadda Ankineedu Prasad, Sambasiva Rao, and Venkateswara Rao and their families, who had leased out 3.33 acres for the party office. “We do not have the resources to buy land and construct party office. So, we have to go for leased land. I am proud to say that the ancestors of these land owners were communists. I promise that the Jana Sena Party will follow in their footsteps and strive to bring in a change in the system,” he said.
