Japan’s ex-envoy joins Sri City

Yasukuni Enoki, formerly Ambassadoor of Japan to India from 2003-07, joined the Sri City Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Chittoor district.

Mr.Enoki signed an agreement to join the SEZ as an adviser here on Saturday, in the presence of key Government officials, leading industrialists from Japan and India, Consuls-General representing various countries, officials of IJCC and JETRO. “Keeping in mind the Japanese investments pouring in India, we are confident that Sri City will be looked at with keen interest. I am very happy to be an advisor here to bring in Japanese companies”, he said on the occasion.

Sri City Managing Director Ravindra Sannareddy called it a honour to have Mr.Enoki as an advisor. “Sri City is host to over 90 companies from 24 countries in just three years.” he said.
