Jagan prays at Tirumala

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy offered prayers at the temple of Lord Venkateswara here in the early hours of Saturday.

Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy, who reached Tirumala late on Friday night, went to the temple during VIP darshan time. He was accompanied by senior party MPs and MLAs.

Later, addressing the media, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy said he had come to Tirumala to seek the blessings of the presiding deity for his ‘Praja Sankalpa Yatra’.

Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy will embark on the yatra from Idupulapaya in Kadapa on November 6. The six-month-long yatra covering 125 Assembly constituencies and 3,000 km will culminate at Ichchapuram in Srikakulam district.

Later, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy called on Swami Swaroopanandendra of Visakha Sarada Peetham at his local mutt here and spent some time with him.
