International Paper APPM Limited (IP-APPM), a group company of International Paper in India, has stated that it received coveted IPMA Environment Award for the year 2013-2014.
Indian Paper Manufacturers Association (IPMA), an industry body representing the resurgent and organized face of pulp and paper sector in India, constituted the award and is presented once in two years.
This year the award is presented to IP-APPM’S Rajahmundry mill for maintaining high standard of environment management.
Upon receiving the award, IP-APPM Chairman and Managing Director Rampraveen Swaminathan said: “It is an honour to receive the award for efforts to save environment..”
