II PU exam ends

Evaluators to wear black bands on first day

March 29, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:58 am IST - BENGALURU:

Students in II Pre-University (PU) can heave a sigh of relief as their final exam ended on Saturday, a day later than scheduled. The Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE) had postponed the exams scheduled for March 17 to Saturday following bandh calls given after the death of IAS officer D.K. Ravi.

DPUE officials said evaluation of answer scripts will begin on April 5 and is expected to be completed in 10 days. The department, however, has not yet committed to the date of announcement of the results. They also maintained that the postponement of the two exams did not have any major impact on the evaluation schedule.
