Heavy rain in north Telangana

One dead and three missing

One person was reported dead in Karimnagar district and three others missing in Warangal as heavy rain lashed the north Telangana districts for the second consecutive day on Friday.

Over 800 houses were water-logged in Manthani mandal of Karimnagar district where a 65-year-old man died due to heavy rain of 36 cm.

“Missing”

Three persons were reported to be missing in Mulkalapalli village of Dornakal mandal in Warangal district where a local stream Akeru vagu was said to be overflowing, according to Disaster Management Commissionerate officials.
