High Court of Hyderabad on Tuesday made it clear that it will supervise the Special Investigation Team's inquiry into encounter in Seshachalam forest in which 20 woodcutters from Tamil Nadu were killed recently.

Passing interim orders in a petition seeking detailed inquiry and re-post mortem on bodies of the victims, the Court asked the SIT to submit its report within 60 days and the Government to change the Public Prosecutor.

Referring to the objection over police officers in the SIT, the Court wanted the petitioner to submit an affidavit.
