Four persons were killed in a road accident that took place at Chintalapudi village in Duggirala mandal on the Mangalagiri-Tenali road in the early hours of Tuesday.
The mishap took place when the auto in which they were travelling collided with a truck that was coming in the opposite direction.
Three persons died on the spot and the fourth person succumbed to injuries at the Government General Hospital in Tenali.
The deceased were identified as Ravi (40) and D. Srinivasa Rao. The names of two others were being identified.
