A.P. HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao has become the most active Minister in the social media network with over 50,000 followers.

Mr. Srinivasa Rao, by sharing all the department programmes and his activities taken up in the social media through his regular updates and uploading of pictures on the social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, established a connect with people and his followers.

The number of his Facebook followers touched 50,107 on Monday making him the most popular Andhra Pradesh Minister on this platform.

Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao is in the second place with 32,228 followers and Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pullarao is in the third place with 16,706 followers.

The following is the number of people following the other Ministers: Sidda Raghava Rao (9,901), Peethala Sujata (5,301), K. Atchannaidu (4,937), and Kollu Ravindra (4,300).

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu directed all his Cabinet colleagues to be active in the social media and share the activities of their respective departments. The HRD Minister had also been responding directly to the questions raised by netizens and followers on some occasions besides uploading details of education programmes, photos, information on his Facebook page and extending greetings during festivals and other programmes. Apparently, he has a team to manage his social media account.
