Four killed in road accident

Four persons were killed, three of them on the spot, in a ghastly road accident at Medak district in the wee hours of Wednesday. According to Toopran Circle Inspector T. Sanjay Kumar, a group of nine members were returning to Srigadam village in Gambhiraopet mandal of Nizamabad district when the vehicle in which they were travelling hit a lorry at Nagaripally crossroad in Toopran mandal. The deceased were identified as K. Amrutha Rao (40), K. Mamatha (40), G. Prabhakar rao (45) -all of them died on the spot- and C. Venkateswara Rao (35) died while being shifted to hospital. Another five persons were injured and they were shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.
