: Justice B. Siva Sankara Rao of the Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday declared that judgment in the case filed by Jerusalem Mathaiah, an accused in the cash-for-vote scam, will be delivered soon. On Wednesday, he concluded the in-camera proceedings, attended by the advocates on record.

Just before the recent elections to MLCs, there were allegations that money was offered for voting. Mathiah was one of the accused. He filed the present quash petition contending that criminal case could not have been registered and continued. The judge had granted stay of arrest when the case was admitted.
