A session on teacher training by motivational speaker of Chinmayi Synergies B.S.N. Murthy for teachers of AP Social Welfare Residential Schools was the highlight of The Hindu Summer Smart Camp being held at the school at VP South in Nagarjunasagar on Tuesday.
Day two of the six-day camp began with enthusiasm as students drawn from 13 districts were put through their routines. As part of the ‘Know Your English’ programme, a session was held on ‘Self-confidence building’ in a bid to remove stage fear. Students were told about the importance of English as a global and link language.
In the session on general quiz, a questionnaire was given. The subjects covered were GK, science, and social studies.
