Engineering admissions will begin from August 27 while the seat allotments will be done on September 12.
Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education chairman P. Jayaprakash Rao said on Sunday that the certificate verification will be held from August 27 to September 6 while students will be allowed to choose options from August 30 to September 8. Options can be changed on September 9 and 10 for the final time.
Fifty-three helpline centres will be available across the State.
Counselling will be held for 2.4 lakh seats available under the convenor quota. However, only 2.07 lakh qualified in the EAMCET this year.
In all, there are 717 colleges that include 30 university colleges and 687 private colleges.
Fee structure
He said the detailed fee structure of all the colleges will be put on the website two or three days before the date of website opening up for options.
Fee will be Rs. 35,000 in 478 colleges that have given undertaking and the government will take a final decision in the rest of the colleges.
Additional seats
Prof. Jayaprakash Rao said an additional 37,780 seats will be available this year with the maximum increase of 10,700 in the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
About 8,730 more seats in CSE, 9,260 in mechanical and 5,750 in civil engineering streams are available.
