‘Encourage reading habit among youngsters’

Several academicians on Tuesday expressed concern over the drop in reading habit among youth while asking parents and teachers to encourage them to read good books which would enhance their knowledge .

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Rector Miriyala Chandraiah said updating of knowledge was a must for journalists after inaugurating a library in Srikakulam Press Club. Kathanilayam president B.V.A. Ramarao Naidu, Srikakulam Degree College Principal B. Polisu said knowledge sharing was possible with the establishment of reading centres and libraries.

Sarvani Educational Institute head Andhavarapu Suribabu, Vidyadhari and Chaiyna Colleges founder Jami Bhimashankar, senior academician Patruni Paparao and others were present.
