‘Venkatesh took the extreme step due to uncertainty over his future’

An employee of Dredging Corporation of India allegedly committed suicide in protest against disinvestment of the company due to fear of job insecurity.

The body of N. Venkatesh, 28, along with a suicide note was found near tracks between Vizianagaram and Nellimarla on Monday evening, Government Railway Police DSP G.B.R. Madhusudan told The Hindu .

Venkatesh, a native of Vizianagaram, was reported missing on Saturday evening.
