Daily wage earner murdered in sleep

A daily wage earner, Yeddula Ashok, 23, was mysteriously found stabbed to death while he was asleep in his house in Parnapalle village in Lingala mandal in the early hours of Wednesday.

Ashok, who married Lakshmi three years ago, became addicted to vices and had been demanding money from his parents and wife, police said. Pulivendula Rural circle inspector Maheswara Reddy inspected the body bearing multiple stab wounds. Lingala police registered a case on a complaint lodged by Lakshmi, wife of the deceased.
