Dadi faults panel

Former Minister Dadi Veerabhadra Rao found fault with the Sivaramakrishnan Committee for saying that it was not possible to set up all the 192 government offices in the new capital and suggesting their location in different cities. The Directorates and state-level offices should be located where the Secretariat was located for administrative convenience. The Committee was only assigned the task of suggesting a suitable capital but not to make recommendations on the measures to be taken for development of the new capital, Mr. Veerabhadra Rao said in a statement.
