The AP Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has invited applications from the farmers, who parted with their land for the construction of Capital city Amaravati. The CRDA will facilitate a visit to Singapore to study the developmental programmes being implemented there. The initiative is part of the State government’s Farmers First programme.

The first batch will visit Singapore from October 22 to 26, while the second batch will visit from November 5 to 9. The third batch will visit from November 19 to 23. In all, 100 farmers will be selected. The objective of the tour is to create awareness on developing their land — residential and commercial. The CRDA will provide accommodation facility for three nights/4 days and transportation facility. In case more number of farmers apply, the selection will be made through lottery basis.

The last date for submission of applications is October 5.
