April 06, 2014 11:20 pm | Updated May 21, 2016 09:04 am IST - KADAPA:

CPI State Committee has cleared the candidatures of its district secretary G. Easwaraiah and S. Venkatasubbaiah from Kadapa and Badvel Assembly constituencies respectively in Kadapa district.

Mr. Easwaraiah told a press conference here that the party has been waging agitations to focus the people’s problems and against amassing of wealth by Congressmen through corrupt means and communalism by BJP.

Rayalaseema which is rich in mineral wealth failed to develop due to indifferent and opportunistic politics, he alleged.

The party had agitated for completion of Galeru Nagari, Handri Neeva and Telugu Ganga projects and construction of a steel plant in the public sector.

He urged people to elect the party candidates.
