Judicial Magistrate First Class K K Amarnath at Sandur in Bellary district ordered that Mr. Reddy, a mining magnate, appear before it on or before May 28.

This is the third NBW issued by the JMFC since December last year against Mr. Reddy on a case by another mine owner Tappal Narayana Reddy, accusing him of altering border markings on the Karnataka—Andhra Pradesh mining areas.

The Karnataka government a few months ago decided to withdraw the case, but Mr. Narayana Reddy challenged it.
