Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has decided to tour districts spending two days in a week in each of them in an effort to take administration closer to the people.

He is launching this new programme from Chintalapudi Assembly constituency in West Godavari district on July 16.

He has chosen the place carefully as it is reserved for Scheduled Castes and is represented by Women’s Empowerment and Child Welfare Minister Peethala Sujatha. He would spend the following day in Polavaram constituency reserved for Scheduled Tribes and represented by party MLA Midium Srinivasa Rao. During his two-day visit, Mr. Naidu would interact with people and self-help women’s groups, know their problems first hand and solve them wherever it is feasible. More importantly he literally run the administration from there for two days conducting official reviews. He would also meet local party leaders. Telugu Desam party sources said by taking up these tours, he wants to send a message to the people of the State that he would be with them always sharing their concerns and challenges.
