Ten persons were injured while 20 others had a miraculous escape when a private bus from Bengaluru overturned after hitting a lorry on the Chennai-Kolkata national highway at Tangutur in Prakasam district on Thursday.
In all, 30 persons were travelling by the sleeper bus to Vijayawada, police said. Six of the injured were rushed to a multi-speciality hospital here.
The accident occurred when the driver tried to overtake the lorry, police said.
