CJ inspects site allotted for Justice City

Chief Justice Dilip Babasaheb Bhosale along with senior judges, Justice Ramesh Ranganath and Justice G.Chandraiah on Friday evening inspected the area allotted for proposed Justice City in the new Capital region.

The visit coming close on the heels of foundation stone laying ceremony assumed significance as the first steps were taken to build key infrastructure in Core Capital region. The High Court of Judicature, Hyderabad, continues to be common High Court for the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana after the bifurcation of the state.

The Justice City, an integrated facility comprising of High Court, Tribunals, Law University, residential quarters for judges, would be coming up on a 1,200 acre plot in the revenue villages of Inavolu, Sakhamuru and Nelapadu in Thullur mandals. Justice Bhosale, who arrived at the venue where the foundation stone was laid to the Capital at Uddandrayunipalem, was accorded a warml welcome. Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao, SP Guntur Rural, K. Narayan Naik, District and Sessions Judge Md. Rafi were present.

The Judges had a look of the 3D model of Capital master plan set up at the Amaravati Pavilion.
