Cash, liquor seized
Police seized Rs. 7.88 lakh from two persons, while Excise officials seized 802 litres of liquor, including 432 litres of IMFL, from belt shops following the arrest of 280 persons during raids after the Model Code of Conduct came to effect in Prakasam district. . Police said unaccounted cash to the tune of Rs. 1.50 lakh was seized from another person at Addanki on Monday night.
