Butta Renuka promises development of Kurnool

April 18, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:42 am IST - KADAPA:

Kurnool MP Butta Renuka got down to work, after a year of acclimatisation of issues and conditions of the constituency.

In an informal chat with the media, she said that she had devoted time to know the problems and issues plaguing Kurnool district and the scope for securing Central funds for development of Kurnool constituency.

“I met all the important functionaries and represented problems of the constituency to them, eliciting a positive response,” she said. The constituency, except Kurnool town, symbolised backwardness, with drought, abject poverty, migration and poor scores on economic and social indices, she said.
