Bulli Ramaiah cremated

Former Union Minister and TDP leader Bolla Bulli Ramaiah was cremated with full State honours on the banks of the Vainateya at his native village Pedapatnam of Mamidikuduru mandal on Thursday.

Mr. Bulli Ramaiah died on Wednesday at Tanuku after a brief illness. His son Ramesh performed the last rites. Ministers Kamineni Srinivas and K.S. Jawahar; Deputy Chairman of the A.P. Legislative Council Reddy Subrahmanyam; MLAs A. Radhakrishna and Pulavarti Narayana Swamy; former MPs A.J.V. Buchi Maheswara Rao and Kavuri Sambasiva Rao; former MLAs; and RDO B.V. Ramana were present. Earlier, Mr. Bulli Ramaiah’s body was brought from Tanuku to Pedapatnam in a procession and kept at his ancestral home to enable people to pay their last respects.
