Boy from Telangana rescued in Ongole

: A 11-year-old boy from Pinamcherla village in Atmakur mandal of Mahbubnagar district in Telangana was rescued by Childline India Foundation NGO partner HELP from the railway station here on Tuesday.

The boy, Shankar ran away from his house to reach his aunt’s house in Hyderabad as his parents Venkatappa and Sukanya scolded him for not studying well. He lost his way travelling for four days in different trains before reaching this coastal Andhra city, said HELP social activist B.V.Sagar. On the orders of the District Child Welfare Committee, he was lodged in a rescue home here.
