Awareness programme on vector-borne diseases

The Association of Physicians of India (API), Karimnagar, and Indian Medical Association (IMA) Karimnagar chapter had decided to conduct an awareness programme on vector borne disease on the theme of “Small bite – big problem” at the government headquarters hospital in Karimnagar on Monday on the occasion of World Health Day.

In a press note here on Sunday, API convenor D. Raghuraman and chairman Tirupathi Rao said that they would empower the patients about the importance of protection from vector-borne diseases such as mosquitoes, houseflies, cockroaches, etc.

They also said that they would also distribute pamphlets to the people on the importance of protection from vector-borne diseases.
