A young Army jawan was arrested by the Cyber Crime Police on Monday on charges of making abusive calls and sending derogatory messages to a woman.
M. Vinod Kumar (21), of Gajuwaka, was working as a jawan in the Army in Chennai. He used to call a girl residing at Pendurthy on her mobile phone and use abusive language. He also used to call the girl’s father on his mobile and send him indecent text messages, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Branch) Mohd. Khan told a media conference.
