AP Assembly session likely from June 19

The first session of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly is likely to commence on June 19, Minister Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy said here on Tuesday.

In a chat with media persons after an interaction with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Mr. Reddy said the government would accord top priority to curbing corruption. He said Mr. Naidu advised all Ministers to work sincerely for development of the State and keep aside group politics and nepotism.

Mr. Naidu interacted individually with the Ministers and sought to remind them that people have voted for Telugu Desam because of the good work during its earlier rule in the State. He told them to work towards further gaining the confidence of people. The Ministers assured the Chief Minister that they would work sincerely irrespective of the portfolios allotted to them.

Another Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said the allocation of portfolios might take some time.
