Annadanam for women workers, aged

Hari Om Adhyatmika Seva Samstha president Kandula Srinivasulu Reddy distributed Ugadi patchadi and organised annadanam for women workers of cottage industries and aged persons residing near Rajampet bypass road on Monday.

Government psychiatrist O.V. Reddy explained to women and aged persons the significance of the Ugadi festival. He said Ugadi was the Telugu New Year that should be celebrated by Telugu-speaking persons and not New Year Day. Ranganatha Reddy, a doctor, said he would organise a medical camp for women workers and would distribute medicines free of cost.
